What are the benefits of Allergan Botox®?

How does Allergan Botox® work?

Allergan Botox® is a drug derived from a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin. When injected, it blocks nerve transmission to muscles, which paralyses or freezes the area. So, the affected muscle cannot contract, relax or soften, which is what prevents wrinkles from forming.

How long do results last for?

Allergan Botox® takes just 20 to 30 minutes and can be completed in a lunch hour. You should start to see effects in a couple of hours with the full result forming in around 7 to 10 days. The results can last anywhere between 8 - 12 weeks and sometimes longer.
